K-Pop Demon Hunters has taken the world by storm and broken records left and right since its release. From its chart-topping soundtrack landing in the top 10 of major global music charts, to becoming Netflix’s most-watched animated film of all time with 106.1 million views worldwide so far. To celebrate this milestone for a Korean American production — and all the things we love about Korean culture, mythology, K-Pop, and K-Dramas — we’ve put together a list of the real-life locations featured in the film that you can actually visit on your next trip to South Korea!
Naksan Park City Wall
You’ve probably seen this place before in several of your favorite K-Dramas like Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon (2017) and My Sweet Mobster (2024). It’s where Rumi and Jinu had their “strictly” business meeting that definitely looked like a date.
You might not get to hang out with a good-looking demon here, but you can stroll with your friends or gaze at the stunning Seoul night view. Whichever you choose, make sure to blast the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack in your headphones for the full cinematic experience.
Address: 서울특별시 종로구 낙산길 41 (41 Naksan-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul)
Gyeongbokgung Palace
In a flashback scene, Jinu shares with Rumi the deal he made with Gwi-Ma that got him into the palace as an entertainer. Later, we see how that decision plays a major role in his transformation into a demon.
The palace marks a turning point in Jinu’s story, and in real life, the palace is also Seoul’s most iconic historical site. With a long legacy of crowned kings, invasions, and restorations that tells the story of the Joseon Dynasty and modern Korea itself.
Address: 서울특별시 종로구 사직로 161 (161 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul)
N Seoul Tower (Namsan Tower)
One of the most romantic spots in Seoul, where countless K-Drama couples have gone to confess their love or seal it forever. In K-Pop Demon Hunters, N Seoul Tower is turned into a concert venue where the Saja Boys stole our hearts (and our souls) to destroy the honmoon.
This location may not come with a fictional idol group promising to be the stars you can rely on, but it does offer one of the most breathtaking views of Seoul.
Address: 서울특별시 용산구 남산공원길 105 (105 Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul)
Bukchon Hanok Village
The place where Jinu and Rumi first met was inspired by this neighborhood with hanoks that are still standing since the Joseon dynasty.
In this village, you’ll find cultural centers offering immersive experiences, cozy restaurants with traditional Korean dishes, and shops where you can rent hanboks to live your historical drama cosplay dreams from head to toe.
*Some hanoks are private homes, so be sure to walk with respect and care.
Address: 서울특별시 종로구 계동길 37 (37 Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul)
COEX 3D Screen
This huge, curved digital screen in Gangnam is known for its jaw-dropping visuals and hyperrealistic advertisements, featuring Samsung commercials, big wave projections, and K-Pop idol promotions.
In K-Pop Demon Hunters, it makes an appearance at the beginning of the film when Rumi drops the HUNTR/X Golden MV.
Address: 513 코엑스아티움 (Gangnam District, Yeongdong-daero, Seoul)
