About

Based on the ceramics collection donated by the late Kim Yong-san, who was the chairman of the Sojeon Foundation, the Sojeon Art Museum was exhibited in Yeonji-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul in 1994, and then moved to Daeya-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do in 1996. Designated as a ceramics-centered theme art museum by Gyeonggi Province in 1997, it preserves and exhibits masterpieces of ceramics, Buddhist art, paintings, crafts, and sculptures that express a variety of Korean aesthetics.
