The Siheung Oido Museum, which opened in July 2019, is located in the Oido ruins (National Cultural Heritage Site No. 441). Oido is the largest site of shell mounds on the west coast and a place where various Neolithic relics have been excavated and the preservation value of the prehistoric coastal living cultural heritage is recognized. The museum aims to become a place for citizens to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset and the sea, as well as the remains of Oido, as well as exhibitions and experiences with various cultural assets of Siheung.
