Bonguisan Mountain, where Bonguisanseong Fortress is located, is 301.5m above sea level and stands tall in the center of Chuncheon, making it a symbolic mountain of Chuncheon. Bonguisanseong Fortress, which is surrounded by the 8th ridge of this mountain, is a site of national defense that clearly tells the history of resistance in Chuncheon.
