Yangjae Citizens’ Forest is a lush public park located in Yangjae-dong. The park’s dense forest features over 70 different species of tree including zelkova, maple and pine trees. There are sports facilities for volleyball and tennis, grass lawns, a wedding hall, and a memorial to patriot Yun Bong-gil. The forest is considered an excellent resource for conservation education and it is a popular picnic destination with Seoulites.
