Sayuwon

About

Sayuwon is a garden where visitors can take a stroll and lose themshelves in thought while soaking in all the surrounding nature. For the eco-friendly creation of the garden, Pritzker Architecture Prize-winning Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza, as well as architects, landscapers, illuminators, and masons from Korea, Japan, and China, all worked together to harness their artistic spirit in this garden. The site, which is a combination of numerous trees, including quince trees, covers an area totaling 330,000 m2 and takes about three hours to look around in its entirety. Sayuwon operates on a pre-booking system for 100 people per day.
