Sabang Memorial Park, opened in 2007 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Korea’s periphery, is the largest park in the country, with a total area of 4,500ha in a short period of time, with 3.6 million people invested for 5 years from 1975 under the direction of President Park Chung-hee, who looked down on the bare ridge from an airplane. It is divided into an outdoor park that shows the success of the project and an indoor exhibition room that collects and exhibits the technological change of the erosion control project and various materials, and is being used as a tourism and relaxation space in connection with the natural beauty of the East Coast.
