Najeon Station was a long forgotten train station. Opened in 1969, it was at its peak during a time when the coal business was booming. Then, in 1993, it became a simple station, and in 2011, it stopped handling passengers and went to the brink of closing. In 2015, the old station was restored by installing chairs and a stove, but it did not attract much attention. It was the cafe that led the revival of Najeon Station. Najeon Station is the first simple station cafe in Korea. The station building has been converted into a cafe and has emerged as a new attraction in Jeongseon.
