The Mungyeong Saejae Open Set is home to the 2016 drama ‘Six Flying Dragons’ and 9 other works, the movie ‘Confrontation Army’ and 3 other works. It is the largest and representative historical drama filming site in Korea, where most of the Korean historical dramas, including ‘Namhansanseong’ and 8 other works, are filmed. On the 16th of the month, 103 additional buildings, including Gwanghwamun, Gyotaejeon, Donggung Palace, Seowungwan, Gwol Cabinet Temple, and noblemen’s houses, were built on a 70,000㎡ site, resulting in the current appearance of 130 set buildings, including 22 existing thatched houses and 5 tile-roofed houses.
