Baeksa Village, located at the foot of Buramsan Mountain, is the last shanty town of Seoul. It is an alley representing the residential area of the common people in the 1960s with old houses attached to each other.
Baeksa Village, where movie-like alleys lead to alleys, was named because it is located at San 104 in Junggye-dong. Since this village was restricted from urban development in 1971, extensions and renovations were not possible, and the residential form of the 1960s and 1970s is still maintained.
