Jukdoam is a small hermitage located on a cliff at Jukdo Beach in Ingu-ri, Hyeonnam-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do. It is located on top of Jukdo Peak, which is connected to the mainland, so it can be easily climbed along Jukdo Beach and the coastal walking trail. Although small in scale, the breathtaking view overlooking the clear, blue East Sea is a sight to behold, making it a popular spot for quiet contemplation. Just a short walk past Jukdoam Rock, you’ll find Jukdo Beach, a wide, sandy beach and beloved surfing spot.
