This technical college was founded in December 1978 by the Jangan Academy as Jangan Technical College. Its name changed to Jangan Professional College in 1989 and to Jangan University in 1998. In 1991, the corporation’s name was changed to Seorim Academy. The 46,460-pyeong campus comprises nine buildings, 84 classrooms, and a playground. Its departments include Industrial Design, Computer Applications, Environmental Engineering, Food and Nutrition, Fashion Design, Metal Craft Design, Creative Writing, Social Sports, Tourism, Trade Information, Public Administration, Business Administration, Distribution Management, English, Japanese, Social Welfare, Accounting, and Early Childhood Education.
