Ilsan Hospital is the only hospital in Korea operated by the National Health Insurance Service. In order to fulfill its role of improving national health, and as a model hospital of national health insurance based on high-quality medical care and kind services, the hospital was opened on March 3, 2000 with 5 basement floors and 13 stories with 745 beds.
