Goseurak is a unique garden filled with as many as 4000 pots (hangari) which are also used for storing and fermenting soy bean paste (gochujang), vinegar, miso, and soy sauces. It is a company founded in 2009 by Kim Hyunjung, which produces 100% organic fermented food, using only organic certified raw materials grown on the company’s land.
There are activities available for a hands-on experience making soy bean paste and sauces, or you can purchase them in the shop or online. The park also features a café which sells various traditional teas and refreshments. Hand-painted pots, sculptures and Jeju-style stone walls can be found throughout the gardens and in the natural pine forest.
