Ashridge House

About

Ashridge House, a 700-year-old mansion in Birkhamsted, England, was originally built as a monastery, but it was actually the British royal residence where Henry VIII and Elizabeth I lived. Currently, it is operated like a hotel, but there are house tours to look around the mansion, and cultural events such as external performances, conferences, weddings, swimming pools, restaurants and cafes, and accommodations are evenly equipped.
