Manhyujeong Pavilion, featured in the K-drama When Life Gives You Tangerines with its traditional Korean architecture

About

Manhyujeong Pavilion was built by Bobaekdang Kim Gyehaeng, a respected civil official of the Joseon Dynasty. After serving in various government posts, Kim resigned and returned to his hometown due to King Yeonsan’s tyranny. He later built a small pavilion, which became known as Manhyujeong. Located in a scenic valley where a waterfall cascades over a large rock, the pavilion offers beautiful views that change with the seasons. It is also well known as a filming location for the popular television series “Mr. Sunshine.”
